Trump Supporters’ Campaign To Boycott Hawaii Dramatically Backfires

One the eve of the Trump Administration’s updated travel ban on six countries from entering the United States of America, it was blocked by a federal judge in Hawaii before it could come into effect.

The ruling is a temporary restraining order to halt the implementation of the ban across the United States, but in its current form is not a permanent block of the directive. The issued ruling contained a withering chastisement of the White House, saying that “The illogic of the Government’s contentions is palpable. The notion that one can demonstrate animus toward any group of people only targeting all of them at once is fundamentally flawed.”

The President is yet to respond on his communicative method of choice, Twitter, but has given his take on the latest ruling, and as you can imagine, he isn’t particularly happy with it.

“A judge has just blocked our executive order on travel and refugees coming in to our country from certain countries. The order he blocked was a watered-down version of the first order that was also blocked by another judge and that should never have been blocked to start with…

“This is, in the opinion of many, an unprecedented judicial overreach.”

The 45th President of the United States went on to say that his administration would “fight this terrible ruling. We’re going to take this as far as we need to, right up to the supreme court.”
