Today the Department of Caffeinated Creativity is brunching…

Today the Department of Caffeinated Creativity is brunching solely on the 3D art lattes created by Singapore based artist Daphne Tan, aka periperipeng. Tan is self-taught and uses a Nespresso machine milk frother to create her foamy sculptures with a mixture of carob powder, soy milk, and water.

“For the details, she uses natural food coloring and melted chocolate. Tan’s caffeinated creations aren’t express espressos, though—each one can take up to 20 minutes to construct. But the final results are worth it, and almost too cute to drink!”

Our favorite part of Tan’s drinkable art is how she brings some of them to life by moving the glass or the milk foam itself. Check out these impossibly cute and squeezabe Shiba inu cheeks:
