Today, thanks to this awesome scale rendering created by David Murray, we learned that the diameter of Pluto bits inside the borders of Australia. Australia measures about 4,000 km (2,485 mi) wide, which is nearly twice the 2,370 km (1,472 mi) diameter of Pluto.
But please, nobody tell Pluto that it’s this small. Remember it has a sensitive heart. You can even see it here thanks to XKCD:
