This comic book Wonder Woman makeup tutorial is straight-up mesmerizing

Since the release of Patty Jenkins’ Wonder Woman, the worldwide interest in Diana Prince (AKA, Diana, Princess of Themyscira, Daughter of Hippolyta) has experienced an eager resurgence. Women everywhere are being reminded that the female superhero is a truly badass embodiment of feminism, and that we should all endeavor to add a bit more Diana Prince to our daily lives.

But don’t worry — that doesn’t necessarily mean wearing an Amazonian battle outfit and wielding a sword (although, you know, you do you). For some, it’s as simple as putting on a fresh face of makeup.

Beauty blogger Nikkie decided to create a comic book-themed wonder woman makeup tutorial in honor of the movie’s success and influence, saying, “I’m going to do something to celebrate because [the movie has] a female director, and they broke records, and us females should be celebrating.”

The process itself is utterly mesmerizing, but the results are even more impressive: a pop art Diana Prince that will certainly make several appearances during Halloween this year (if not sooner, because this makeup look is fresh as hell).

The most important products for this looks are the liquid liner (Blinc Ultrathin Liquid Eyeliner Pen), the white eyeliner (NYX Liquid Liner in “White”), and the ruby red lipstick (Morphe Liquid Lipstick in “Morphe”).

You don’t need a Lasso of Truth to admit that this look is pretty badass (even though you might not want to wear it on a daily basis).

This is definitely a new kind of Amazonian war paint — but it’s sure to pack a punch.
