This awesome Haunted Gingerbread House created by Serious Eats…

This awesome Haunted Gingerbread House created by Serious Eats writer and self-proclaimed pastry nerd Stella Parks proves that gingerbread houses aren’t just for Christmas.

“If you’ve never made a gingerbread house before, there’s no time quite like Halloween. Not only is October a less chaotic time than the weeks before Christmas, a haunted house is the most forgiving sort. Is the roof slightly askew? Are the windows uneven? Did it crumble a bit around the edges? Blame it on the ghosts! Defects only add to its ramshackle charm.”

The pattern for this super spooky gingerbread house was designed by Ray Keim of Haunted Dimensions. Parks covered both the house and its gingerbread graveyard with all sorts of awesome edible details.

Head over to Serious Eats to get a closer look, including videos.

Parks also created a step-by-step tutorial so we can each make our own Haunted Gingerbread Manor.
