If there’s one problem we all have it’s definitely finding MORE time to play Pokémon GO. And boy are companies on the hunt to capatalize on the demand to give players any edge they can get. NY shoe company, Vixole, is no different and they’ve come up with a way to help us catch maybe not all, but as many Pokemon as we can. It’s a shoe that give sus notifications the two minutes a day we aren’t already on our phones. Thanks, I guess?
They’ve created a prototype of an LED trainer that syncs up with the app and vibrates and lights up when there is a Pokemon near.
The company is calling it the first customizable e-sneaker and not only does it have the sensors mentioned above, it also can feature a custom image as well, like say Pikachu:
The shoe works with other apps as well, vibrating for twitter notifications, incoming texts, Google maps, as well as your fitness apps, basically anything you want to know about coming into your phone, but most importantly, POKEMON GO. It’s no surprise that that’s the focus of their Kickstarter marketing campaign. Because who are are we kidding?
The fundraising efforts will be begin in September to fund production of the shoes. I’m kind of on the fence on whether or not this shoe is a good or bad thing? I mean do we really need to be more connected to our phones? SORRY TO BE A BUZZKILL!
