Starbucks barista serenades customers at drive-thru window


If you’re ever at the Starbucks drive-thru and wonder why your frap is taking so long, the employees may be busy serenading the sedan in front of you.

That’s what happened when two radio DJs from the Houston station KORA ordered their drinks with a guitar under the seat. It’s noticed by the window barista, who introduces himself as simply “Phillip,” and the music flows from there.

Now it’s entirely possible this was staged, or that the two disc jockeys drove around with that guitar hoping someone would ask about it. But on the other hand, they explicitly ask Phillip to sing and he silently shuts that down, teaching them a very valuable lesson about interrupting Phillip. Read more…
