Rihanna’s Reaction To Watching Her Own Bates Motel Debut Is Brilliant

Just in case you’ve never heard of it, Bates Motel is a contemporary prequel to Alfred Hitchcock’s incredibly famous film Psycho. The programme, which is now in its fifth season, follows the life of Norman Bates and his mother Norma prior to the events portrayed in the Hitchcock film.

As if in order to prove quite how contemporary the series really is, Rihanna has been cast as the iconic Marion Crane. Even if you’ve never seen Psycho, you’ll know the character I’m talking about. She’s the one who got stabbed in the shower, in what is almost definitely the most iconic movie moment of all time.

Anyway, now that Rihanna’s not just a global pop star but also an accomplished actor in her own right, you’d expect her to be cool with watching herself on screen. However, as a recent Instagram live video shows, she’s totally not fine with it.
