But cartoons have been changing much more quickly over an even shorter period of time. Animator and YouTube legend Harry Partridge went to Twitter to show that cartoons from the ’90s are basically stick figures hopping all over elephants. This was first shared back in 2015, but got a boost today thanks to an article over at Kotaku

Man, the characters from the 2010s are all streamlined and smooth, while those ’90 cartoons, with all their extra details, feel cluttered and almost grimy. I’m all for minimalist animated characters! Let’s simplify them babies!
