Having already announced Hey Arnold! and Rocko’s Modern Life movies, Nickelodeon isn’t letting up on the gas, revealing today that an Invader Zim made-for-TV movie is coming as well. That’s right, the animated alien is returning to the kid’s network along with his fellow monosyllabically-named pals Gir, Dib, and Gaz.

And this is huge news for the internet — back in the days of owning DVDs, Invader Zim was one of those beloved gone-too-soon pieces of pop culture that had to be on your shelf if you wanted to have any sort of outsider cred.

And my god, do we ever live in a dream factory. It’s like, whatever we tweet about will get revived by Netflix or Nickelodeon or Crackle or someone! How niche is this going to get? I’m going to call this the quantum reboot rule — the second we think of something, we can google it to find out that a reboot has been announced. I’m going to test it — does anyone remember Biker Mice from Mars? I think it might’ve been a cartoon show, but my friend had a video game about it on Super Nintendo.
