Hello, friends of the Geyser of Awesome. My name is Maika and, for the last 7.5 years, it’s been my pleasure to spend my days combing the Internets for all manner of awesome things to share with you here.

I’ve spent the last two weeks celebrating many of our all-time favorite posts. Now I’m stepping out from behind the proverbial curtain because today this Geyser officially stops erupting. But this isn’t goodbye.

I am immensely proud of the work I’ve done and skills I’ve cultivated working on the Geyser from its inception. So, although Geyser is ending, today a brand new site is just getting started.

I cordially invite you all to join me over at The Spoodoir, an ever-growing web of wonderment, and weirdness, and words, where you’ll find the same sorts of awesomeness I’ve shared with you here and more. Today is a day of endings and beginnings. Tomorrow The Spoodoir shares its first catch.

See you there!

P.S. – For anyone interested in following me personally, you can find me on Instagram, Twitter, and at Haute Macabre where I’m a staff writer.
