For the Chromatic festival in Montreal, ceramicist Laurent…

For the Chromatic festival in Montreal, ceramicist Laurent Craste collaborated with the Dpt. creative studio to create an interactive installation entitled Parade.

Craste created a pair of misshapen vases which sit on a wooden pedestal with an industrial light swinging in front of them. Dpt. created a a hidden projection system that makes it appear as though the swinging light causes the shadows of the twisted vases to appear to dance together on the wall behind them:
