Today is 4/20 which is essentially a national holiday for stoners. Every year, herbal enthusiasts celebrate this day by indulging in some extra special green goodness. The lovable and hilarious tv host Ellen DeGeneres even acknowledged the occasion on her show today and both smokers and non got a kick out of her segment.

Ellen DeGeneres celebrated 4/20 on her show today by renaming several children’s books with weed-themed titles.

Degeneres began by asking the audience if they knew what day it was. “Hey do you know what today is? It’s 420.”

The studio erupted with a understanding applause. To which Ellen said, “I can’t believe how many of you know what that is.”

Then, she introduced a book called  Scratch and Sniff Book of Weed which Ellen said smells like Martha Stewart’s purse.

Degeneres introduced several parody titles such as The Little Engine That Couldn’t Get Off The Couch
