Each spring people from all over the world and Japan itself…

Each spring people from all over the world and Japan itself travel to Tokyo to bask in the pink beauty of the blooming cherry trees. The cherry blossoms last for about a week, but the Department of Awesome Natural Wonders just learned that there’s a wonderful reason to hang around to the very end: the enchanting sight of a city turned pink as the cherry trees shed their blossoms.

Photographer Danilo Dungo used a DJI Phantom drone to capture these dreamy images of fallen cherry blossom petals coating the surface of the pond in Inokashira Park.
