DURUS, A Robot Built to Walk Like a Human

DURUS is a bipedal robot developed at SRI International designed for more efficient motion than similar two-legged robots. Researchers at the Georgia Institute of Technology’s AMBER Lab have improved the robot’s motion to mimic the heel-strike and toe push-off humans naturally use when walking.
