Of course, no two pimple pops are the same, and each is unique in its own way.
This isn’t just any normal ol’ pimple. This is a “Dilated pore of Winer.”
If you’re like me and had no idea what that means, Dr. Sandra Lee (aka Dr. Pimple Popper) explains that it’s “essentially a large, solitary open comedone/blackhead.” Basically, dead skin cells get stuck, which widens the pore and plugs up its opening.
What comes out of it? Well, Dr. Lee describes it as “the macerated, white, soggy keratin/skin cells from the deeper portion of the pore,” but we’d simply call it the grossest gunk ever.
