We all vaguely remember shows we use to watch when we were younger, but some shows we completely forgot about. Why don’t we give Ren & Stimpy as much love as Powerpuff Girls? This list of shows should refresh your memory and have you saying “ohhhhhh yeah!” in no time!
Dave the Barbarian
Dave the Barbarian saw a barbarian defend his town from different creatures. Everyone knows this show, but no one REMEMBERS it. Dave had a talking sword! How come we let this show slip from our memories so easily? Dave the Barbarian will always be in my heart.
American Dragon: Jake Long
American Dragon: Jake Long was about a boy who could turn into a dragon in Manhattan. The theme song always made me so excited and everything about the show was great! And yet, as beloved as it was, people never bring it up in everyday conversation like they do shows like That’s So Raven. It’s unfair!
Another classic show with an amazing theme song, ChalkZone got all of us to draw a giant circle out of chalk and try to step through it at least once (and if you didn’t, you’re probably normal). This show deserves more, but it’s always forgotten about! #GiveChalkZoneMoreRecognition
My Gym Partner’s a Monkey
A boy with the last name “Lion” is transferred to a school full of animals because they thought he was actually a lion. That description alone should make you want to watch My Gym Partner’s a Monkey if you’ve never seen it. The school was crazy and as the title appropriately puts it, the human’s gym partner was a monkey.
Samurai Jack for me feels like a fever dream. I can’t remember anything about it, I think it was in a post-apocalyptic world full of shadow monsters? But no matter how little I remember it, Samurai Jack will always be special to me (in a vague way).
Rocket Power was about a group of friends who just loved to skate getting into a bunch of different situations. It was a show that made everyone wish that had more friends and less rules to follow! R.I.P Rocket Power — gone but sometimes forgotten.
My Life as a Teenage Robot
Jenny was a teenage robot who just tried to live life like a normal teenager… despite being made of scrap metal. My Life as a Teenage Robot holds a special place in my heart. All the love to Jenny.
