Please join us in welcoming the newest member of the Department of Extraordinary Upcycling: Dutch artist Jeroen van Kesteren, who created these extraordinary and exquisitely detailed airships using cardboard, aluminum foil, and a variety of papers or the propellers and sails. The ships are part of a series entitled Orphanage for Lost Adventures. Ranging between 15 and 20 inches tall, each fantastic vessel takes van Kesteren about a month to make.

Head over to Colossal for additional photos and the Orphanage for Lost Adventures Pinterest page for even more.
