During his freetime aerospace engineer Adam Woodworth is an RC aficionado who previously transformed a quadcopter drone into a miniature Imperial Speeder Bike. For his latest project Woodworth made one of our childhood LEGO dreams come true by making a 1990 LEGO Space Shuttle fly.

There’s a little bit of technical trickery involved in making this time-lapse video. Woodworth replaced the LEGO shuttle’s frame with one-millimeter foam to make it light enough to be flown by the tiny quadcopter inside.
